Who this is for
- Dental undergraduates curious about specialty routes
- Foundation dentists (DFT) considering hospital-based careers
- GDPs reading CBCTs who want formal training & reporting credentials
- OMFS trainees seeking imaging subspecialty depth
Why radiology?
- DMFR is one of the smallest, most under-supplied dental specialties in the UK
- Demand from implantology, orthodontics & sleep medicine for CBCT reporting is exploding
- Strong overlap with head & neck radiology and academic dentistry
- Clear PG route via the GDC specialist list and 5-year DMFR StR programme
